Sure you’ve spent a lot of time researching your education finding out which school has the best biology program and bookstores and pouring over clear wireless reviews, but do you really know about the intangibles of your chosen university? Here are a few non-educational things to consider:
Campus Life: How do you feel about being involved in campus sports, clubs or philanthropic organizations? If you want to get active you’re going to want to choose a school with a lot of options and a participative student body. Some are more so than others.
Male to Female Ratio: It may sound inane but some schools have way higher than average male/female ratios or vice versa. If you’re interesting in dating on campus you may want to pick a school who’s ratio falls in your favor.
The University Town: There’s a lot to be said for a town with some activity outside the school so choose carefully. If you pick a larger city you may have more job and internship opportunities while if you pick a “school” town you may need to stick closer to campus.
